タカヒロ・ホシノ

北海道出身。４歳よりピアノを始め、幼少より即興演奏や自作曲の演奏を行う。故河原裕康、宮澤功行の両氏に師事。

全日本学生コンクール小学生の部北海道大会第1位、同東京大会第3位。

桐朋女子高等学校音楽科（共学）、同大学、同大学研究科を経てハンガリー国立リスト音楽院にてハンガリー政府給費留学生として研鑽を積む。留学中には、マリア・カナルス 、ヴィオッティ＝バルセシア（現ヴァラッロ=セシア）、カントゥ・ピアノコンチェルト、マスタープレイヤーズ、TIM ROMAなどの国際コンクールにて優勝、上位入賞し、それらをきっかけにヤング・プラハ国際音楽祭、マスタープレイヤーズ国際音楽祭などのヨーロッパ各地の音楽祭に招聘される。ハンガリー国際「５つの竪琴」音楽祭に招かれた際には、最も才能と将来性に溢れたアーティストに贈られる「リラ大賞」を日本人としては指揮者の小林研一郎氏に次いで二人目の受賞者となる。

 

2021年以降はメディチ、モスクワ、トリニティ、ロンドン、ロンドン・クラシカル、クララ・シューマン、バーミンガム、NY Classical Debut Awards、クリーブランドなど、いずれもプロフェッショナル部門で63の国際コンクールで受賞を遂げ、2022-25年開催のヨーロッパやカナダやスイスの国際音楽祭やウィーンのムジークフェライン、ロンドンのロイヤルアルバートホール、ニューヨークのカーネギーホールでの演奏会出演の他、第2回トリニティ国際/カナダ、北アメリカ国際/USA、Concours Européen de Piano/フランスの審査員に招かれるなど、さらなる国際的な活躍の場を拡げ、2023年にアメリカの大手音楽事務所PRICE ATTRACTIONSと専属契約を結ぶ。

 

これまでに、ハンガリー交響楽団、ハンガリー・MALEV交響楽団、モスクワ管弦楽団、ルーマニア国立管弦楽団、ルガーノ祝祭管弦楽団、プラハ室内管弦楽団、ハンガリー・ソルノク交響楽団、東京ニューシティ管弦楽団、札幌交響楽団、Nippon Symphonyなどのオーケストラと共演する。

 

 『音楽現代』の「今、目が離せない10人の日本のピアニスト」にてトップページで扱われるなど、各誌でその演奏と才能を高く評価される。現在は、日本各地やヨーロッパやアメリカでリサイタルを開催する他、コンチェルトのソリスト、室内楽、NHK-FMリサイタル、朝日カルチャーセンターへの出演等、幅広い演奏活動を行う。 活発な演奏活動と共に後進の指導にあたり、桐朋学園大学音楽学部ピアノ科講師(2001-2013)、上野学園大学音楽学部ピアノ科准教授、同学園短期大学客員教授、東成学園昭和音楽大学講師、札幌コンセルヴァトワール客員講師を務める。又、ドイツ ハレのEuro Music Festival & Academy、イタリア ブレシアのTalent Summer Courses & Festivalの招聘教授として招かれ毎夏同音楽祭への出演、マスタークラスで後進の指導にあたっている。

2018年にFIERTÉ並びにFIERTÉ PianoAcademyを、2020年には一般社団法人日本芸術連盟を設立し代表理事に就任。

JCPC日本室内楽ピアノコンクールを設立、主宰。

これまでに、「LISZT－SCHUBERT」『熱情・クライスレリアーナ』「LISZT I ～内なる深淵との対峙～」ベートーヴェン・アルバム「PASSION」、名曲集「STORY」、ショパン・アルバム「FANTASIE」をリリース。それぞれレコード芸術誌で準特選盤、読売新聞推薦盤に選出される。 近年は株式会社タカギクラヴィアの協力を得て、『ホロヴィッツの恋したピアノ』こと1912年製のヴィンテージNYスタインウェイ CD75を使用した活発な演奏活動を繰り広げている。

Hoshino Takahiro - Piano

Japanese pianist Takahiro Hoshino was born in Hokkaido and began studying the piano at the age of four. From an early age he was active in improvisation and composition. He studied with the late Hiroyasu Kawahara and Isayuki Miyazawa. He won First Prize at the Hokkaido Regional Competition of the All-Japan Student Music Competition and Third Prize at the national competition in Tokyo.

He graduated from the Music Department of Toho Gakuen High School and completed his studies at Toho Gakuen University and its graduate program. He later continued his studies at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest as a Hungarian Government Scholarship student.

During his studies in Europe, he won prizes at numerous international competitions including the Maria Canals International Piano Competition, Viotti-Valsecchia International Competition, Cantu Piano Concerto Competition, Masterplayers International Competition, and TIM Roma International Competition. These achievements led to invitations to perform at international festivals across Europe, including the Young Prague International Music Festival and the Masterplayers International Music Festival.

At the Hungarian International “Five Lyres” Music Festival he received the Lyra Grand Prize, awarded to the most promising and talented artist. He became the second Japanese recipient of the award after conductor Ken-ichiro Kobayashi.

Since 2021, he has received prizes in more than sixty international competitions in the professional category, including Medici, Moscow, Trinity, London Classical, Clara Schumann, Birmingham, NY Classical Debut Awards, and Cleveland competitions. He has appeared at major venues such as the Musikverein in Vienna, Royal Albert Hall in London, and Carnegie Hall in New York, and has been invited as a jury member of international competitions including the Trinity International Competition (Canada), North America International Competition (USA), and Concours Européen de Piano (France).

As a soloist he has performed with orchestras including the Hungarian Symphony Orchestra, MALEV Hungarian Symphony Orchestra, Moscow Orchestra, Romanian National Orchestra, Lugano Festival Orchestra, Prague Chamber Orchestra, Szolnok Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo New City Orchestra, and Sapporo Symphony Orchestra.

His performances have been highly praised in the Japanese music press, including being featured on the front page of Ongaku Gendai magazine’s “Ten Japanese Pianists to Watch.” In addition to recital and concerto appearances, he is active in chamber music, radio broadcasts such as NHK-FM Recital, and educational projects.

Alongside his performing career, he has been engaged in teaching and has served as lecturer at Toho Gakuen School of Music, associate professor at Ueno Gakuen University, visiting professor at the university’s junior college, lecturer at Showa University of Music, and visiting professor at the Sapporo Conservatoire. He is also invited each year as a professor of the Euro Music Festival & Academy in Halle, Germany, and the Talent Summer Courses & Festival in Brescia, Italy.

He founded FIERTÉ and FIERTÉ Piano Academy in 2018 and established the Japan Arts Federation in 2020, serving as its representative director. He is also the founder and artistic director of the Japan Chamber Music Piano Competition (JCPC).

His recordings include Liszt–Schubert, Passion: Beethoven Album, Story, and the Chopin album Fantasie, all of which received high critical acclaim in Japan, including selections by Record Geijutsu magazine and recommendations by the Yomiuri Shimbun.

In recent years he has performed extensively on the historic 1912 New York Steinway CD75, known as “Horowitz’s beloved piano,” with the support of Takagi Klavier.
